Dancing With A Stranger And Drunk Revenge

"You're lucky they let us in," I seethed across the table as I worked on finishing my Rosé-infused ice cream with edible rose petals and strawberry syrup on top.

Ryuu, who was working on his chocolate marshmallow deluxe, was grinning from ear to ear. "We were fine." He brushed off my anger.

We'd been an hour late for our reservation because Ryuu wanted to be a sex-addicted jackass. Wolfgang was right about the sex addiction side of dragon shifters because if it hadn't been for the phone call that snapped us out of our sex haze, I was sure we wouldn't have left his room for a month.

No...months!

At some point in our sex adventure, my dragon trait almost took over my mind. I hadn't noticed it in the beginning, but the stronger my desire to fuck Ryuu again and again, the more I realized this wasn't my usual level of stamina or sexual charge.

It was like being a rechargeable battery, with a ten-second recharge time. If I thought Wolfgang or Dimitri had high stamina, Ryuu had just showed a whole new side of survival for ultimate sex sessions.

My legs were still trembling from the number of times we'd fucked. Some of the positions we'd done were completely absurd and yet gave me the best orgasms of my entire life.

Never would I have imagined my sex life to be so refreshing, so healing. I could tell that behind that boyish grin of Ryuu's, he was completely relaxed, unlike when I first met his worried gaze earlier in the evening.

I had been taken aback when his sister suddenly said she wanted to be a boy and revealed her worries to me instead of her brother. Ryuu explained during dinner that she wouldn't talk about it to anyone. She'd either change the subject or be completely silent.

She'd been seeing a psychiatrist since the whole kidnapping incident, and now with everything repeating itself, it was obvious that she'd be kidnapped again by Nikko. I didn't want her feeling like she was powerless simply because she was a female.

Gender did not determine if you were mighty and powerful, and she needed to learn that by seeing it demonstrated to her. That was how I had learned — Scarlett proved me wrong when I reached that age and thought witches couldn't be stronger than wizards.

It was all mental. If you set boundaries for yourself, you'd always be held back when you could easily achieve more.

Once we'd finally made it to the restaurant, Ryuu and I spent the rest of dinner catching up, talking about the others and where we truly stood with summer breezing by.

Next week I'd be hanging with Wolfgang to set up some vacation time with everyone. I'd finally gotten a hold of Zuri, who'd gone on a European tour with Xavier and would finish it off by going to Korea to see her family before heading back.

We'd been texting the best we could, but we were both lost in focusing on our relationships.
